My family recently went to Greer for several days to escape the heat and relax. We stayed at a lodgepole cabin that was twenty feet from the Little Colorado River. We stayed up late to look at stars, played various games (I lost miserably at Texas Hold’em and Risk - I was swindled), and watched movies.
They say a vacation is intended to help you unplug and recharge from your daily grind. By design, a vacation is supposed to give you a new perspective on life. I gave it my best effort. One night my wife used her power of veto to watch Sweet Home Alabama. Even though she has watched it many times, it still made her tear up when Reese Witherspoon chased Josh Lucas onto that emotionally charged Alabama beach during the lightning storm.
I thought about it on the drive home to The Valley. We love to be romanced and for good reason; who wouldn’t want to be courted by a suave multi-millionaire that won’t give up? And then it struck me. If you are a business owner, you don’t have to wonder. You can find out once a year what it feels like to be courted by a millionaire billionaire when your policy comes up for renewal. Sure, at times it might be a clumsy courtship like Harrison Ford in Sabrina. But the point is, it is a courtship nonetheless (and Harrison did end up getting the girl).
Hear me out.
Every quarter the marketing reps from some of the biggest insurance titans touch base with our agency with one thing in mind. You.
They are quite persistent if I’m being honest. Move aside, Patrick Dempsey and Josh Lucas. Liberty Mutual (valued at $156 billion), Travelers ($127 billion), The Hartford ($77 billion), Progressive ($75 billion), CNA ($61 billion), Auto-Owners ($32 billion), Acuity Insurance ($6 billion), and Pekin Insurance ($1.7 billion) are jockeying each other for the opportunity to get to know you better. They aren’t just swiping right for a casual fling. They want to write your policy for the long haul. They are chasing that silver anniversary with you.
I’m not playing. These companies are ready and motivated to back up their interest in you with competitive pricing. They just need you to give them a chance. These are the Arizona markets industry titans have asked us to match them with in 2024. They can write all lines of coverage:
